Demos Chrissos is president of RapidResponse Media, a company he founded in 2004 with the purpose of becoming a strong conservative counterpoint to left-wing media attack groups. He is a writer-producer-director, hands-on audio/video editor as well as an award-winning video producer and original music composer. His creative work spans over three decades and has earned a number of local, regional, national and international creative awards including CLIO and a number of Gold, Silver and Bronze AAPC POLLIE awards in 2008, 2009, 2010 and (5) POLLIES in 2011. This prestigious competition features thousands of entries from the U.S. and around the world and is recognized as the leading creative competition for radio, television and print media used in political campaigns, public policy initiatives and issue advocacy work. His background includes working as both a senior writer/producer and co-creative director in several ad agencies. He has also owned and managed a recording studio that serviced a variety of corporate, national and international clients as well as a number of political consultants. Public reaction to his issue advocacy work has helped generate substantial earned media for his clients on a number of major national media outlets such as The O'Reilly Factor, Glenn Beck, Hannity, FOX Report with Shepard Smith, MSNBC, America’s Most Wanted, Lou Dobbs Tonight and The Laura Ingraham Show. He has developed and produced media campaigns for a number of issues that include: threats to U.S. national security, free speech, global warming and climate change, immigration/border security, social and economic issues and preserving American sovereignty. He has also been interviewed about his work and a number of related topics on both radio and television.
For over 20 years, Chrissos sat in the jump seat beside some of the most successful political media strategists in the business writing original music for a number of their high-profile Republican political campaigns including multiple Presidential campaigns and still writes original music today for a select few clients. This vantage point provided him a raw, behind-the-scenes look at the good, bad and the ugly moments of full-contact, political combat. His music work includes original post-scores for Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, John Engler, Lamar Alexander, Ollie North, Christie Whitman, Tommy Thompson, and Bob Dole. In fact, the emotional impact of his original music post-score for a 1988 “Dole for President” video was described in Richard Ben Cramer’s book, “What It Takes – The Way to the White House”.
Recently, he founded National Voters Alliance, a grassroots organization aimed at focusing attention on voter fraud and strengthening enforcement of laws that protect the integrity of U.S. elections. He has also testified before members of the Maryland Assembly opposing such groups as the ACLU and CASA of Maryland prompting our friends at "PEOPLE FOR THE AMERICAN WAY/Right Wing Watch" to add Chrissos' name to "right-wingers" worth keeping your eye on... a title he wears proudly.
Demos lives in Maryland, just outside Washington, DC and with his beautiful wife of 35 years, Karen. They have three children, Lauren, Adrian and Demetri--all musically talented--and a Tibetan Terrier named "Sophia Gianna" who is an absolute joy.
